Job summary

Machina Labs is seeking a hands-on Welder/Fitter to perform precision fabrication, fitting, welding, and assembly of complex metallic components. You will work from engineering drawings and travelers to ensure dimensional accuracy, cleanliness, and traceability.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production while following established procedures and helping improve them as Machina scales

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional welding and fitting experience in precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, weld symbols, GD&T, specs and travelers.
• Perform precision layout, cutting, forming, fitting, welding and assembly of metallic components.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy, joint gaps, orientation, and assembly geometry throughout fabrication.
• Inspect work for weld quality, cleanliness, and conformance to requirements.
