The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a TIG Welder to work at a company located in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area!

Job Title

TIG Welder

Position Location

Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Pay/hours for position

Schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: $22-$25/hour; Full-time

Responsibilities of position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with TIG and MIG welding, an ability to read part prints and recognize weld symbols, and proficiency in using various power tools to shape and finish welds. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

General Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions accurately.
• Utilize handheld power tools such as air files and orbital sanders.
• Keep track of part counts and log work into the computer system.
• Work comfortably in a factory environment with noise and dust exposure.
• Maintain consistent and reliable transportation.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.

Position-Specific Responsibilities:

• Read part prints and identify weld symbols.
• Perform TIG welding on aluminum as thin as 0.030" and stainless steel as thin as 0.020".
• Perform MIG welding on cold rolled steel.
• Use and create fixturing as needed to achieve print dimensions.
• Operate belt and DA sanders to finish and shape welds on contoured edges.
• Maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
