Job description

Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of marine engine parts, has an immediate need for an experienced Welder to join their team in West Palm Beach.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fabricate and repair metal using TIG, MIG, or Spot Welding techniques.
• Ensure welded materials meet blueprint specifications under supervision.
• Assist other departments as necessary and maintain safe work habits to ensure a safe work environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• No prior experience needed; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Basic knowledge of metal fabrication and welding is a plus.
• Good communication skills; Spanish speaking is a plus but not mandatory.
• Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive projects.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties.
• Familiarity with welding safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision with some independent judgment.
• Hands-on mechanical skills are essential.
