Job description

We serve over 2,000 customers, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, and component suppliers worldwide, with 31 leasing, sales, distribution, and MRO operations in 19 countries. We are seeking an Aviation Welder to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) division in Fort Lauderdale, reporting directly to the Director of Production. In this role, you will perform high-quality welding repairs on commercial aircraft components. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage multiple tasks and contribute to our team’s success. This position offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of welding experience.
  • Must pass AWS D17.1 practical welding test on all aircraft metals.
  • Create structures by welding components together.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols.
  • Speak, read, and understand English.
  • Verifiable experience welding base metals such as Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Inconel, in accordance with AWS certifications D17.1 and D17.2, using MIG, TIG, Spot, and Stud welding processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A&P License or specialized training is desirable.
