Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on TIG and MIG welding in a job shop or custom metal fabrication environment.
• 5+ years reading complex blueprints and interpreting structural weld symbols.
• Strong record of punctuality, accountability, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cranes/forklifts safely.
• Demonstrated career stability with multi-year tenures.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications and prototypes.
• Interpret detailed prints and weld symbols to ensure proper fit.
• Set up machines, adjust parameters to meet quality standards.
• Measure and align components prior to final welding.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to position weldments.
• Collaborate with shop team to resolve design challenges.
