Qualified candidates have 5+ years of TIG/MIG welding experience, read complex blueprints, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Local commuting within driving distance of West Bend is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on TIG and MIG welding in a custom metal fabrication environment.
• 5+ years of reading complex blueprints and interpreting structural weld symbols.
• Reliable attendance with a strong work history.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform Precision TIG/MIG welding on custom fabrications and components.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Set up welding machines, gas mixtures and heat parameters for ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Layout and fit-up assemblies in sheet metal and structural components before welding.
• Operate overhead bridge cranes and forklifts to move weldments in the shop.
• Collaborate with team leads to optimize welding runs and resolve design challenges.
