Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Neenah, WI, is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. You will weld and fabricate metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and quality standards, with emphasis on TIG welding proficiency.

The role requires reading weld symbols, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining a clean, safe 5S work area. The 2nd shift runs 4:00pm–2:30am, with a focus on productivity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pass welding test to demonstrate proficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and drawings.
• Experience with TIG welding and fabrication processes.
• Stand and lift up to 50 lbs; 10-hour shift.
• Manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or job shop environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble parts using blueprints, work orders, and instructions.
• Read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
