Job summary

Washington Elementary School in Kennewick, WA seeks a Para/SS/Tier II Behavioral Program paraeducator to support students with behavior difficulties and collaborate with the special education team. This position is 6 hours per day, 180 days per year with a salary of $23.15–$26.65 per hour, plus up to $0.60 per hour based on college credits.

Starting date is immediate. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; an AA degree or 72 quarter/48 semester credits or ETS test passing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits preferred.
• Must attach unofficial transcript; official transcripts within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a background check and basic skills test; CPI Level I/II training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in Tier II Behavior program.
• Assist with instructional tasks and supervise students during recess and activities.
• Assist with data collection and documentation to monitor progress.
• Coordinate with teachers, specialists, and families as needed.
