Job summary

Ridge View Elementary in Kennewick, Washington is seeking a Para/SS/Tier II Behavioral Program paraeducator to support students with behavioral needs. You will work as part of a team with the special education teacher and specialists, delivering instructional activities and maintaining progress documentation.

Hours are 6 per day, 180 days per year. Salary ranges from $23.15 to $26.65 per hour, with potential extra earnings up to $0.60/hour based on earned college credits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits or ETS passing score.
• Transcript proving AA degree or credits must be attached with the application; official transcripts within 30 days.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with behavior difficulties and with students who have special needs.
• Collaborate with the special education teacher, other paras, and specialists as a team.
• Carry out instructional activities and maintain documentation to monitor progress.
• Follow district policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
