Job summary

Apex Systems, LLC is seeking a Tier 2 Systems Administrator to manage Windows Server deployments, AD/GP, and RHEL Linux environments. The role involves VMware vSphere VM deployment, DNS, and basic network infrastructure.

You will apply scripting and automation (PowerShell/Python/Bash) and work with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Jenkins to streamline operations. Hands-on experience with Nautobot, RHEL Satellite, or InfoBlox DDI is a plus; certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RedHat

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and administering Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Strong/Linux experience with RHEL distributions.
• VMware vSphere administration and VM deployment.
• DNS management and basic network concepts (Routers/Switches/Firewalls).
• TCP/IP routing and subnetting knowledge.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with configuration management/automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Experience with containers and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Nautobot, RHEL Satellite, or InfoBlox DDI.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RedHat Linux, or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 systems administration and support.
