Job summary

Tierfiveimaging is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver second-tier end-user support, handle escalated incidents, and assist with project work across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will analyze systems, propose improvements, configure Windows servers, AD, Exchange, and Office 365, and work with VMware, Azure, and RMM tools in a managed services setting.

Strong documentation habits and collaboration with management are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in computer, server, and network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of server-based technologies and services (Active Directory, Exchange, domain services, GPO).
• Experience with Windows OS migrations (e.g., Windows 7 to Windows 10).
• Ability to write Windows PowerShell scripts and deployments.
• Experience with Office 365 client-side support and tenant administration is a plus.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting and design.
• Experience with RMM tools, patching, and asset management.
• Familiarity with hosted cloud solutions and IaaS.
• Strong system and maintenance documentation skills.
• Experience with ITSM tools and service desk concepts.
• Previous MSP experience preferred.
• Experience with data center backup solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide second tier support to end users by handling escalated incidents and service requests.
• Handle additional project work as assigned by management.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to customer environments and application landscapes.
• Assist in implementing and supporting systems, GPO, VMware, Azure and other cloud technologies, and networking configurations.
