Job summary

Jobtailor in Arlington, VA seeks a Tier 2 IT Support Analyst to handle hardware, software, network and security issues for clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and ensure SLAs are met.

The role requires 2-5 years of IT experience, relevant certifications, and strong knowledge of AD, DNS/DHCP, VDI, Exchange/Office 365, and cloud platforms. On-site work in the Arlington area is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration or related field.
2-5 years of IT experience in roles like Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator or IT Specialist.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, AWS, Azure, MCP, CCNA or similar are highly desirable.
Knowledge of modern IT infrastructures including servers, networks, virtualization, cloud systems and security.
Proficiency with Microsoft server and client OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VDI, Exchange/Office 365 and desktop apps.
Familiarity with LAN/WAN designs, firewalls, switching and wireless.
Experience managing cloud systems including AWS, Azure and Office 365.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 support to clients for hardware, software, network and security issues.
Collaborate with other support roles for efficient problem resolution.
Manage client IT systems and adhere to service level agreements.
Monitor and optimize client systems for efficient performance.
Maintain clear client communication and set expectations on active support inquiries.
