Job summary

The Amatriot Group is hiring a Help Desk Technician for the MacDill AFB area in Tampa, FL. The role delivers Tier 0–I support, incident response, and customer service to military, civilian, and NATO personnel, with a focus on rapid issue resolution and escalation where needed.

Applicants must have a BA/BS, 3 years of IT experience, DoD 8570/IAT II eligibility, Security+ CE, and an active Secret clearance. Shift work and client-site duties are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3 years of IT experience required.
• 2+ years with DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• DoD 8570 requirements and IAT Level II eligibility required.
• Active Security+ CE certification required.
• Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, professional customer service and incident resolution.
• Deliver first-contact and Tier I support; escalate to Tier II/III as needed.
• Remotely configure and upgrade software; manage multiple OS environments.
• Maintain system documentation and security of systems.
• Lead in training end users and guiding junior technicians.
