Job summary

Digital Hands in Tampa, FL is seeking a Tier 1 IT Security Analyst to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) as the first line of response for customer support, monitoring, and security incident triage.

This full-time onsite role runs Fri–Mon from 1:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced managed security services environment and close collaboration with security and operations teams to protect customer environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant IT field.
1–3 years in IT, network ops, help desk or cybersecurity.
Windows desktop/server experience preferred.
Endpoint protection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor customer environments and respond to network, infrastructure, and security alerts.
Investigate and triage security events from firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint tools.
Create, update, and remediate incident tickets; escalate as needed.
Search SIEM/endpoint platforms for suspicious activity.
Support threat response with containment actions and threat intel.
Conduct regular operational health checks of networks and security devices.
Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email.
Identify process improvements for better security operations.
