Digital Hands is seeking a Tier 1 IT Security Analyst to join our NOC/SOC in Tampa, FL, serving as the first line of response for customer support, monitoring, and incident triage. The role involves monitoring environments, investigating alerts, and supporting incident management across diverse systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT, network operations, help desk, or cybersecurity role.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments preferred.
• Experience with endpoint protection and antivirus technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer environments and respond to network, infrastructure, and security alerts generated by monitoring and management platforms.
• Investigate and triage security events from firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMs, endpoint security tools, and other technologies.
• Create, update, and remediate incident tickets; escalate issues when appropriate.
• Execute searches and analyses across SIEM and endpoint platforms to identify suspicious activity.
• Assist threat response by analyzing alerts and implementing containment actions such as firewall blocks.
• Perform scheduled health checks of network infrastructure and security appliances to ensure availability.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding incidents and updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and customer experience.
