Boley Centers, Inc. is seeking a TIEH Program Assistant to coordinate referrals, admissions, and data management for SAMSHA and DCF contracts in Clearwater, FL.

This full-time clerical role supports the Treatment of Individuals Experiencing Homelessness program on the Safe Harbor campus. The ideal candidate holds an associates degree in business or health and human services, is proficient with computers and Microsoft 365, and has experience working with individuals with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and reports for DCF and SAMSHA contracts.
• Support program manager and VP of Community Services.
• Prepare presentations and financial reports; document submissions.
• Assist with referrals, discharges and admissions for TIEH clients.
• Field referral calls and general inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of client population, resources and regulations; manage housing resources database.
• Schedule, document management (scanning, faxing, emailing) and calendar upkeep.

Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a full-time Program Assistant to work with the Treatment of Individuals Experiencing Homelessness (TIEH) program.

The TIEH Program Assistant will assist with the coordination of referrals, admissions and data management for the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and with other functions related to the Program's organization, maintenance of calendars, financial supports, meeting support and other duties assigned. This position is located on the campus of the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office’s Safe Harbor.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with data collection and reports in accordance with established timeframes and with data tracking related to DCF and SAMSHA contracts. Additional data support may be necessary.
• Provide support to the TEIH program manager and VP of Community Services.
• Assist with presentations and financial reports and preparation of documents for submission.
• Assist with TIEH client organization including referrals, discharges and admissions.
• Assist with fielding referral phone calls and general inquiries.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of client population, community resources, linkage procedures, treatment modalities and relevant regulations.
• Maintain database of community resources including housing and apartment rentals.
• Assist with scheduling, documentation management (scanning, faxing, emailing) and calendar management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Associates degree in business or in the health and human services field preferred. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university. Comprehensive understanding of computers, technology and Microsoft 365.
• Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness as well as office management experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid Florida driver's license required.

Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
