Job summary

Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a Ticketing Operations Supervisor to oversee daily ticketing operations and supervise ticketing staff, ensuring accurate cash handling and smooth POS system operations at the mountain resort.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, cash-handling and supervisory experience, comfort with computers, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays in a mountain environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and learning POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation; able to travel in winter weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ticketing operations and ticketing staff
• Train and assist ticket cashiers
• Operate and troubleshoot the ticketing/POS system
• Maintain change and cash levels throughout the resort
• Count and balance cash drawers and cash bags
• Verify daily sales and report discrepancies
• Prepare daily deposits and required paperwork
• Complete basic accounting and deposit spreadsheets
• Assist with guest questions and concerns
• Communicate important operational information to resort staff
• Maintain an organized and secure Cash Services area
• Protect confidential financial and employee information
• Perform other duties as needed to support resort operations
