Job summary

The Classic Center is seeking a Ticketing Services Representative to join our team in Athens, GA. You will help sell event tickets for the Theatre, Akins Ford Arena, and campus venues and provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to patrons with inquiries and directions.

You will manage online and mobile ticket sales, maintain expert knowledge of events, gift certificates, coupons, and special payment methods, and assist with season ticket renewals and data entry.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or customer service is essential.
• Impeccable customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills with basic accounting knowledge.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Sell event tickets for Theatre, Akins Ford Arena, and campus venues via ticket office channels.
• Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to patrons with inquiries and directions.
• Manage online and mobile ticket sales for a smooth fan experience.
• Maintain expert knowledge of events, gift certificates, coupons, and special payment methods.
• Assist with renewals, returns, exchanges, and data entry for season tickets.
• Support events as guest services and troubleshoot ticket scanning equipment.
• Inform patrons about VIP opportunities and connect them to sales staff.
• Provide administrative support including inventory management and data maintenance.
