Job summary

Houston Astros, LLC seeks a Ticket Services Intern to support our ticketing and credentialing programs for the Texas Children’s Houston Open. You will work with Ticketmaster and Manifest to ensure a seamless experience for guests, sponsors, and participants under the guidance of the Tournament Coordinator.

This paid internship runs January 4, 2027 through May 5, 2027, and involves collaboration with Operations, Volunteers, Sponsorship, Revenue and Retail.

Qualifications

• At leastJunior level college/university student or graduate student enrolled in a related field (Sports Management, PGA Management, Hospitality, Business Management) between January & May.
• Reside or willing to relocate to/near the Houston, Texas area from January 4-May 5, 2027, at your own expense.
• Must have a desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the fulfillment of sponsor ticket packages using Ticketmaster software and account manager platform.
• Process ticket/credentialing requests from vendors, sponsors, and PGA Tour Players.
• Help manage the production of credentials for the event.
• Provide support and instruction to clients requiring assistance with their electronic tickets.
• Support admissions and hospitality committees with ticketing equipment, troubleshooting, and training.
• Manage one of the four entry gates during tournament week.
• Assist Ticketmaster representatives with on-course set up prior to tournament and any needs during tournament week.
