Job summary

Legends Global in Laredo, TX seeks a Part‑Time Box Office Ticket Seller in the Finance Department to support ticket operations and customer service. The role reports to the Box Office Manager and requires accurate cash handling and sales recording.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the window, processing tickets and payments, reconciling cash, and assisting with Will-Call and reservations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; six months box office or banking experience preferred.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to count money, make change, and handle cash accurately.
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions; work independently or with a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills; respond to customer needs promptly.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer skills: input data into a computer to record sales transactions.
  • MUST BE 18+ YEARS OLD.

  • Records sales transactions in the computer system.
  • Maintains confidentiality concerning upcoming events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager.

Position

Part‑Time Box Office Ticket Seller – Finance Department, reporting to the Box Office Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Opens and/or closes ticket window as required.
  • Accurately dispenses tickets, accepts payment, and makes change.
  • Maintains accurate counts for hard tickets and for computer‑printed tickets.
  • Completes daily sales reports.
  • Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Box Office Manager for audit.
  • Fills reservations for seats by mail and handles Will‑Call window per procedures.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, responds promptly to customer needs, and handles most box office questions independently.
  • Efficiently answers questions concerning prices, seating, and events.
  • Provides information concerning upcoming events.
  • Files various records and reports and performs related clerical work assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality concerning upcoming events.
  • Maintains a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager.
