Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Ticket Taker at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, TX to greet guests and verify admission tickets. You will scan tickets, answer basic questions, and help keep lines moving while upholding a safe, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, can communicate in English and Spanish, and is 18 or older; punctuality, teamwork, and a neat uniform are essential.

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) will be strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Be on time.
• Be in a clean, presentable uniform and ready to work at your call time.
• Smile, make eye contact and be courteous!
• Greet each guest in a warm, friendly manner (“Good evening” or “Welcome to the Sames Auto Arena”).
• Be certain that each guest possesses a valid admission ticket by checking that the proper event name, date and event/box code appears on each ticket.
• Scan all tickets using computerized scanners.
• Direct all guest towards the general direction of their seating section (“Section____ is to your left. An usher will show you to your seat”).
• Keep your lines moving as rapidly as possible, and if able, assist other ticket takers by directing longer lines to your area.
• Check for food, drinks and other contraband.
• Other duties may be assigned.
