Job summary

Dollywood Parks & Resorts is seeking a Ticket Team Member for the Dollywood Theme Park. This full-time seasonal role processes ticket sales at turnstiles, answers guest questions, and delivers friendly, guest-centered service to ensure a seamless park entry experience.

The position requires operating POS systems and turnstiles, handling cash and card transactions, and following Dollywood policies on discounts, refunds, and re-entries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Operate admissions POS, turnstiles, scanners, phone equipment, copier and calculator.
• Learn computer, scanner, and printer equipment.
• Typing test of 25 wpm or greater.
• Onboarding includes background screening and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly interactions; answer questions and park information.
• Sell tickets and process reservations on a computerized ticketing system; sell season passes.
• Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions; handle refunds and exchanges per policy.
• Balance cash at opening/closing; manage deposits; support Group Sales and marketing data collection.
• Scan tickets for park admission; verify identities and re-entry eligibility; apply re-entry stamps.
• Maintain area cleanliness and organization; ensure maps are stocked with accurate info.
• Cross-train for TimeSaver, theater, Lost and Found, and other roles as needed.
• Attend trainings and complete required paperwork; maintain confidentiality and safety compliance.
