Job summary

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is seeking a Ticket Clerk to issue tickets and deliver exceptional guest service. You’ll work closely with Rentals, Snowsports School, Spa Packages, and F&B outlets to enhance the guest experience.

The role requires excellent customer service, cash handling, and great communication. Year-round and seasonal openings exist; starting wage is $18 per hour and includes employee housing options, a mountain pass, and discounts.

• Accurate cash handling and POS experience; operating a cash register is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell daily lift tickets, season passes, or special events tickets to the public.
• Answer questions concerning fares, schedules, reservations, and provide information about attractions/events.
• Retain up-to-date mountain information and respond to general inquiries.

We’relooking forTicket Clerk professionalsto join our team inGirdwood, Alaska.WhatYou’llDoAs aTicket Office Clerk you are often the first person at AlyeskaResortthat guests interact with, making you an integral part of the guest experience. The primary role of the Ticket Office Clerk is to issue tickets and provide exceptional guest service to customers. This role will require the Clerk to have knowledge of other resort offerings including Rentals, Snowsports School, Spa Packages, and Food and Beverage Outlets.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sell daily lift tickets, seasonpasses,orspecial eventstickets to the public.

• Answers questions concerning fares, schedules, reservations, andprovideinformation concerning upcoming attractions/events.

• Retain up-to-date mountain information such as mountain conditions and events at the Resort and respond to generalinquiries.

• Ability to work well under pressure and ability to work independently.

• Knowledge of the mountain emergency operating plan and the ability toassistwhen the plan is activated.
