Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is looking for a detail-oriented Retail Clerk to provide friendly customer service across five outlets. The role requires POS experience, cash handling, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced resort environment.

What You’ll Do

As a

Retail Clerk

,you’ll provide customer service in the Resort's five retail outlets:

Alyeska Mountain Shop, Sundry Shop, Glacier Gifts and Gallery, Sitzmark, and Max’s

andplay a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and safe experience for our guests.

• Assist guests in locating merchandise.
• Possess a functional knowledge of outlet's products and inventory.
• Operate point of sale system, making change, reconciling cash/credit at close of shift.
• Restock, price, and merchandise product.
• Maintain a clean shop.
• Inventory and shipping.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work weekends & holidays on a flexible schedule.
• Any employee over 21 years of age is required to have a valid TAPS card.

What We Need

The successful candidate must have POS and cash-handling experience.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
