Schuchart is seeking a Project Executive to lead Tenant Improvement (TI) operations in the Greater Seattle and Puget Sound markets. You will drive portfolio growth, oversee client relationships, and ensure operational excellence with a focus on risk management and profitability.

You will mentor Senior PMs and PMs, champion a safety-first culture, and collaborate with HR/COO to recruit top talent and promote professional development in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry in a leadership role including prior experience as a Project Executive or Senior Project Manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in management and servant leadership, with effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Proven experience managing complex TI projects.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with attention to detail and organization.
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of project financials and reporting policies; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the executive leader for TI operations across the Greater Seattle and Puget Sound markets, driving portfolio growth, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall project success.
• Lead business development, forecast efforts, RFP strategies, and pipeline/backlog management to achieve portfolio objectives.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with regional property managers, corporate tenants, healthcare leaders, developers, architects, and key trade partners while driving client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain visibility in the regional construction market through industry involvement and community engagement.
• Partner with leadership to align operational goals, navigate risks, and execute strategic directives.
• Mentor and coach Sr. PMs, PMs, engineers, and field staff to foster growth and accountability.
• Promote a safety-first culture with site presence, regular check-ins, and open communication.
• Set performance goals, support career progression, and recognize direct reports.
• Structure and lead high-performing project teams with clear roles and decision making.
• Provide coaching on client/subcontractor conversations and dispute resolution.
• Recruit top professionals and support university/industry outreach with HR and COO.
• Manage workload distribution and staffing to meet revenue goals while maintaining service quality.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and ensure consistency across teams.
