Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent (Commercial TI - Buildout) in Nashville to plan, develop and manage project schedules with the project manager, and to maintain budgets and site activities. You will coordinate subcontractors and vendors and supervise craft employees from design through completion.

Projects focus on restaurant, retail, commercial office and hospitality TI work. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, along with proficiency in Sage

Qualifications

• Five (5) years in a commercial construction onsite-management role preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and jobsites while interfacing with inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city officials and clients.
• Proactive management of schedules and budgets while coordinating with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage project schedules with the PM.
• Maintain budgets and site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and agreements; supervise craft employees.
• Review shop drawings and manage materials procurement; ensure safe, accessible sites.
