Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks a seasoned Superintendent for Commercial TI/buildout projects in Nashville. You will plan, develop and manage schedules with the project manager, maintain budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and supervise construction from design through completion.

Most projects involve restaurant, retail, office and hospitality spaces. Strong communication, coordination, and knowledge of Sage 100 Construction is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a commercial construction onsite-management role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and interface with inspectors, subcontractors, architects and clients.
• Experience in project estimation is preferred.
• Proficiency with Sage Construction Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Over-communicate with client, subs & staff.
• Manage day-to-day subcontractor operations.
• Supervise craft employees and assign responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to the Reverse Phase Schedule and maintain quality/value.
• Review shop drawings, procure materials, coordinate deliveries, ensure site safety.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontractor agreements and maintain budgets.
• Report progress and budget matters to Project Managers & Director of Construction.
