Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a part-time Block Clerk to enter sale information for LiveBlock transactions and support dealers and auctioneers with accurate data entry. The role emphasizes prompt customer service, teamwork, safety, and adherence to policies in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the auction team, maintain system accuracy, and participate in ongoing trainings to stay current on procedures and technology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of clerical experience with basic computer skills.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.
• Maintain a professional appearance, orderly work environment and friendly disposition by greeting others.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise Management of serious incidences.
• Review pre-populated AMS data and enter missing or modified announcements as requested.
• Enter sale data into the LiveBlock system by listening to the Auctioneer and monitoring internet bids.
• Document corrections on the appropriate form and submit to Manager.
• Maintain good communication with the auctioneer and dealer representative.
• Attend weekly/monthly informational meetings to stay updated on systems and policies.
• Monitor area conditions and equipment for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety; report issues.
• Respond to accidents or losses following proper procedures; report incidents to the Manager.
• Perform other duties assigned by the designated manager.
