Job summary

ADESA is seeking a part-time Block Clerk for Wednesdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on entering sale information for in-lane and LiveBlock transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the auction process. Customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical experience with basic computer skills. A valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive vehicles are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of clerical experience with basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.
• Greet customers and maintain a professional appearance and environment.
• Resolve customer complaints and inform management of serious incidents.
• Review AMS data and update missing or modified announcements.
• Enter sale data into LiveBlock by listening to the Auctioneer and monitoring bids.
• Record sale price and bidder numbers accurately.
• Document corrections on the proper form and submit to Manager.
• Maintain communication with auctioneer and dealer representatives.
• Attend weekly/monthly informational meetings on system or policy updates.
• Monitor workspace conditions and equipment for safety and cleanliness.
