Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks an experienced manufacturing operations leader to own the thruster system manufacturing flow from materials to final acceptance testing.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning manufacturing engineering, quality, tooling, supply chain, and production, guiding cost, safety, and lead-time improvements. DFx and data-driven improvements will be central to your role, driving rate production and enterprise-wide excellence.

Qualifications

• Ten-plus years of manufacturing leadership in complex production environments.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams (Manufacturing Eng, Quality, Tooling, Supply Chain, Production).
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma with value-stream mapping and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end thruster system manufacturing flow from raw materials to final testing.
• Lead safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance across the value stream.
• Drive production velocity and improve cycle times through lean initiatives.
