Job summary

The Salvation Army SF Main Thrift Store in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Sales Lead for a full-time, benefits-eligible position at $21.00 per hour. You will provide exceptional customer service, help meet sales goals, and mentor ARC beneficiaries as part of Work Therapy assignments.

Ongoing duties include coordinating daily store operations, opening/closing, supervising staff, scheduling, and maintaining security of cash and inventory while upholding the mission and community relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year previous retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with the best selection and exceptional service.
• Meet store sales and income budgets while managing expenses to maximize profitability.
• Create a positive and mentoring environment for Beneficiaries through collaboration with program staff.
• Implement positive Work Therapy Assignments and keep Beneficiaries on track.
