Position Summary
This position is essential to ensure that the sales floor is stocked, organized, and presentable to customers. Providing excellent customer service and accurate cashiering are key parts of this role. This position also helps ensure that inventory is properly stocked and rotated throughout the store. Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and customer‑focused environment is vital to doing this job well.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer service and cashiering
- Greet customers and assist them throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate the cash register, credit‑card terminal, and related point‑of‑sale equipment accurately and courteously.
- Merchandising and stocking
- Stock, rotate, and straighten merchandise on shelves, racks, and sales displays.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Retail or customer service experience preferred

- Ability to operate point‑of‑sale equipment and handle cash accurately

Requirements
- Driving – This position does not require driving

- Ability to maneuver, remain in a stationary position, grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead, lift 25–50 pounds, access and produce information from the POS, operate telephone, and understand written information
