Job summary

Black Mountain Home For Children seeks a Production Supervisor to lead donation processing, production workflow, and inventory in the Mountain Home Thrift Store. You will guide staff and volunteers, uphold safety and ministry values, and ensure smooth daily operations.

This role reports to the Thrift Store General Manager and requires strong leadership, organization, and customer service, with a focus on supporting donors, shoppers, and ministry goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in retail, warehouse, or production environments.
• Ability to supervise volunteers and interns effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and donor relations.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee donation production process and ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Lead production staff, volunteers, and interns; coordinate schedules and workloads.
• Serve as primary liaison for volunteers; ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with training; observe staff supervision meetings; provide operational leadership in manager's absence.
• Maintain safety standards and promote a culture of stewardship and accountability.
