Job summary

No Longer Bound is seeking a Store Manager in Dawsonville, GA to supervise retail, donations, and processing operations while developing a capable, mission-aligned team. You will ensure accurate cash handling, compliance, and guest services in a high-volume thrift setting.

You will lead with integrity, maintain costs within budget, and uphold No Longer Bound’s values across all store activities, including safety, training, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a people person with a pleasant and willing attitude.
• Experience in retail and/or warehouse operations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with command of English.
• Ability to read, comprehend, analyze and interpret correspondence and memos.
• Ability to read and interpret policy/procedure manuals.
• Excellent math and money handling skills.
• Ability to read and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Able to use Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to operate a cash register, printer, phone system, and credit card machine.

Responsibilities

• Lead and equip team through Assistant Managers to run retail, donations, and processing operations including handling donations and payments.
• Oversee financial procedures: daily sales reconciliation, deposits, audits, and internal controls.
• Maintain alignment with No Longer Bound mission and culture in store operations.
• Establish and maintain customer service standards for a pleasant shopping experience.
• Manage administrative tasks: new hire paperwork, reviews, documentation, scheduling.
• Coordinate store appearance and safety, supplies, and cleanliness.
• Ensure effective communication with processing staff and donors.
• Oversee budgeting-related purchasing of retail and processing supplies.
• Provide leadership for staffing, safety, operations, and fiscal management within budget.
