The Salvation Army Foothill Ranch Thrift Store is seeking an enthusiastic Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service and community impact.

Responsibilities include directing opening/closing, inventory, donations, coaching staff, payroll oversight, and maintaining security and safety protocols to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisor/management experience in a retail environment.
• Basic understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s license with ability to pass MVR check and insurance proof.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct day-to-day operations of the store, including opening/closing, POS, inventory, and donations.
• Hire, train, and direct the store team; develop performance and coach employees.
• Schedule employees to ensure coverage; maintain payroll records and time/attendance edits.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction through excellent service.
• Oversee Back Room Processing and inventory on the sales floor; coordinate with HR and District Manager.
