Job summary

The Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to join our Idaho Falls stores and help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by selling donated items. Your work supports our programs and services that benefit youth in need.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you’ll represent a mission-driven organization, handle sales transactions, stock and price merchandise, and participate in a caring, compassionate work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and credit/card processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates and other loading/moving equipment.

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment
• Sort, clean, price and stock donated merchandise
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates and other loading/moving equipment

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
