Job summary

Life Network Academy thrift store seeks a dedicated Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive revenue in a ministry-driven environment.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, manage inventory, handle basic bookkeeping, and participate in budgeting and planning. A strong Christian testimony and a high school diploma are required; schedule is Monday–Saturday, full-time, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail supervisory experience.
• Thrift store experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong Christian testimony and commitment to Life Network and its ministry.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master thrift store operations including metrics, sorting, pricing and merchandising.
• Develop strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, ensure policies are followed.
• Maintain store readiness and presentation for optimal customer experience.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and budgeting functions.
• Manage inventory and control expenses.
• Lead staff and volunteers on sales floor and production areas; operate cash register.
