Society of St. Vincent de Paul Georgia, Inc. seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to open and lead our thrift store. You will supervise staff and volunteers, manage daily operations, and drive sales while maintaining strong community relations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in retail with 1 year in leadership, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work is in-person at our Georgia store location with a friendly, faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience in retail operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a faith-based environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day thrift store operations, including opening and closing.
• Report on sales and other key performance metrics.
• Price and display merchandise; maintain neat displays.
• Supervise staff and volunteers in Manager's absence.
• Oversee cash handling, donations, and POS procedures.
