Job summary

New Life Center is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Thrift Store in Fargo, ND. The role leads daily sales floor and production operations, guiding staff and volunteers, maintaining a well-stocked, organized store, and upholding compassionate service aligned with the center's faith-based mission.

You will supervise team members, coordinate scheduling, and ensure policy compliance, while supporting inventory management and guest relations.

Qualifications

• Must be engaged in a local church and exhibit a personal, evident, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the South Thrift Store Team with clear vision, direction, and alignment to core values.
• Supervise hiring, coaching, performance, and adherence to store policies; lead in prayer when appropriate.
• Oversee merchandise flow from donation to sales floor; ensure inventory is well-stocked and organized.
• Coordinate staffing, workflows and scheduling for efficient store operations and customer service.
• Provide pricing, POS system support, and assist with processing transactions; resolve issues as needed.
• Assist the Store Manager and step in when on-site leadership is unavailable.
