Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia is seeking an enthusiastic Thrift Store Manager to lead a thriving nonprofit shop in Commerce.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will supervise paid staff and volunteers, oversee pricing, donations, and daily operations, and drive revenue while upholding the charity's mission.

A high school diploma is required; experience with POS and nonprofit environments is a plus; you will build community partnerships and ensure accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor store operations to drive revenue and meet budgets.
• Recruit, hire, train and manage paid staff and volunteers; set schedules and duties.
• Oversee pricing and rotation strategy to maximize sales.
• Ensure cash handling, credit card and voucher transactions are standard.
• Assess merchandise quality and rotation, replenishment, and maintenance.
• Prepare daily sales tracking and income reports for conference treasurer.
• Curate displays for special occasions, events, holidays, and seasons.
• Provide excellent customer service and lead staff and volunteers to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints in a courteous, timely manner.
