Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Security & Network Analyst II to monitor security events, assist incident response, and collaborate with security engineers to strengthen controls. You will analyze logs, investigate alerts, and help with threat hunting and detection tuning in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and several years of cybersecurity operations experience, with hands-on work in SIEM, EDR/XDR, and firewall management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in technology, cybersecurity operations, or related roles.
• Intermediate knowledge of SOC/NOC and hybrid security environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and assist incident response activities.
• Analyze logs and telemetry from SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and firewall platforms.
• Investigate tickets, manage alerts, and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Support vulnerability management and policy reviews.
