Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory seeks a Security & Network Analyst II to monitor security events, analyze threat data, and assist with incident response across enterprise systems.

You will work with security engineers and analysts to tune detections, validate alerts, and improve security visibility while supporting hybrid security and network operations. Strong analytical skills and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in technology, cybersecurity operations, or related role.
• Experience with SOC/NOC security operations environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Analyze logs and telemetry to identify threats and performance issues.
• Conduct incident response activities including containment and documentation.
• Escalate complex issues with proper evidence and impact assessments.
• Collaborate with security and network teams to improve controls and detection.
