Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Security & Network Analyst II to monitor security events, investigate alerts, and support incident response activities across enterprise systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in technology, cybersecurity operations, or related field.
• Experience with security and network operations concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls and related platforms.
• Analyze logs and telemetry to identify threats and operational issues.
• Investigate and manage tickets including security alerts and vulnerability findings.
• Conduct incident response activities: analysis, containment, evidence collection, and documentation.
• Assist with vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with teams to improve security monitoring and detection capabilities.
• Create investigation notes and build knowledge base articles.
