The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Security & Network Analyst II to monitor cybersecurity operations, analyze security events, and assist with incident response. The role emphasizes threat detection, detection tuning, and collaboration with Security Engineering, Network Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.

You will analyze logs and telemetry from SIEM/EDR, investigate tickets, and contribute to improving security posture.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in technology or cybersecurity operations.
• Knowledge of SOC/NOC security operations and enterprise infrastructure.

Mansioni

• Monitor security events and alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewall, and cloud tools.
• Investigate and manage tickets including security alerts, vulnerability findings, and access issues.
• Conduct incident response activities: analysis, containment, evidence collection, and post-incident follow-up.
• Triage alerts, validate findings, and escalate complex issues with proper documentation.
• Assist in threat hunting, detection tuning, and security controls improvements.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering, Network Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.
