Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a Thread Support Staff Systems Engineer (TSSSE) to join the Sentinel program. This level 5 systems engineer will support the Ground Systems Thread and is based in Roy, Utah.

The role involves SME leadership, architecture, verification planning, and coordination with SEIT and OCE to deliver high-quality thread solutions for the Sentinel ICBM ground system.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years experience; or Masters with 10+; or PhD with 8+.
• 3 years of experience leading teams in a collaborative environment.
• 2 years of experience creating and maintaining system-performance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Become a SME and technical lead for Sentinel thread(s).
• Execute special projects for assigned threads.
• Act as primary delegate for threads with responsibility and oversight of systems engineering outputs.
• Coordinate with SEIT leadership and OCE to ensure a high-quality technical baseline.
• Brief program leadership and customers on thread status at reviews.
