Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Thread Support Staff Systems Engineer (TSSSE) to support the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role focuses on lead-level systems engineering across ground systems threads, with visibility to program and customer reviews.

A successful candidate will mentor others and drive end-to-end thread integration. Basic qualifications include a STEM degree with significant experience, DoD Secret clearance, and MBSE experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 years of experience; or master’s degree with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, current within the last 6 years.
• Must obtain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period.
• 4 years of experience with ICBM programs or complex aerospace/defense systems.
• 3 years of experience leading teams in a collaborative environment.
• 2 years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining system-performance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert and technical lead for assigned thread on the Sentinel Program.
• Execute special projects as needed for the assigned threads.
• Act as the primary delegate of authority for the threads with responsibility and oversight of all systems engineering products.
• Partner with SEIT leadership and OCE to ensure the technical baseline is developed with high quality.
• Brief program leadership, customers, and stakeholders at program and technical reviews.
• Establish an effective working group with stakeholders to ensure thread integration.
