Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a Thread Support Staff Systems Engineer (TSSPE) to support the Sentinel program. You will lead the Physical Security thread and coordinate with Air Force on ground- and airborne-launch control systems and security infrastructure.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, system-engineering leadership, and MBSE proficiency. A 9/80 schedule is typical with full-time benefits and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 years of experience; or master’s with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
• US citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance, within scope.
• 4 years of experience with ICBM programs or complex aerospace/defense systems.
• 3 years of experience leading teams in a collaborative environment.
• 2 years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining system-performance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject-matter expert and technical lead for Physical Security thread in Sentinel program.
• Oversee all related systems-engineering products and deliverables.
• Develop a high-quality technical baseline with SEIT leadership and OCE.
• Brief leadership, customers, and stakeholders at reviews.
• Define requirements and allocate down to component level.
• Develop architecture and interface definitions for thread.
• Plan verification activities and coordinate with customers.
