Responsibilities include scheduling based on physician orders, verifying booking information, managing EPIC work queues, reviewing labs and pre-operative docs, and maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; medical office background preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; familiarity with EPIC is a plus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and surgical procedures based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Verify accurate surgical booking information and manage cases with high accuracy.
• Navigate EPIC and patient charts to obtain necessary pre-operative data and ensure required labs, imaging, and authorizations are complete.
• Maintain accurate patient information and EMR documentation; communicate scheduling details to patients and staff.
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative appointments and ensure all clinical, administrative, and insurance requirements are met.
