Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of tests, procedures and surgeries under supervision.
• Schedules procedures in a prompt, polite, and helpful manner with appropriate booking sheets and equipment.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance; obtains precertification from payer.
• Communicates appointments and pre-surgical preparation information to patients.
• Coordinates postoperative care and communicates with departments for follow-up and billing.
