Qualifications

• American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery certification or eligibility.
• 5 years of experience or more required.
• Teaching residents, fellows, and medical students in an academic/research setting.
• Experience in general thoracic surgery with lung transplant focus; minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a new lung transplant program including clinical protocols and multidisciplinary team.
• Develop referral network and pursue UNOS certification.
• Participate in academic appointment and teaching within the medical school setting.
